Before the founder/proprietor of both Thy Rod & Staff and the Reel School of Fly Fishing starts to get seriously busy with guiding & clinics, he is going to Utah's Green River below Flaming Gorge dam; departing via flight from Reno on the 18th and returning the 24th of April. Two adventurous fly anglers will wade-fish for two days and then be pampered during three days of guided drift-fishing. Having lived vicariously about the Green; CyberFly will now experience it first-hand to verify if all the positive stories about this fishery is true.
The hope is the timing is right and the BWO hatch will be in full-bloom...with a lot of surface-feeding trout. He and his fishing compatriot are prepared for all eventualities, both method-wise and unpredictable spring weather-wise.
