DEFINITION #14 "DIAMONDS IN THE SKY"

Defintion:

The name of a atmospheric phenomena that occurs during a light, small-particle snow-fall and its exposure to sun.

1----The refraction from the falling snow-flakes create brilliance and flash for the viewer.
2----The refraction also occurs after a snow-fall as the newly fallen snow on the ground creates sparkle through-out the area.

Both instances sparkle like diamonds...

NOTE: difficult to image such an event unless one has a very sophisticated camera...which I do not.

A good-time was had by all, The fishing was really slooooow. Most of us left at mid-afternoon and three hard-core regulars hung in there until dusk and got a few tugs.
we drank well and...
ate really well!
